Kapilshwar Temple:
30 km. drive & then trek 2 km. or 9 km. trek from Mukteshwar Situated in the confluence of river Kumiya & Sakuni. Built between 8th to 10th century by katyura kings.
Chiitai Temple:
60 km. A temple of Golu devta, god of justice for the hill people. Lord Golu, one of the bravest generals of the Chanda kings followed the martial tradition of the hill men and died like a true warrior in action. People appeal to him on a letter for meting out justice and when their wish is fulfilled they offer a brass bell. The thousands of brass bells outside and the letters of appeal show the faith of the people.
Jageshwar Dham:
It is situated in a beautiful narrow valley, surrounded by magnificent deodar monarchs. Is believed to be the abode 12 Jyotirlinga’s. The complex, consisting of 124 temples & hundreds of statue, is famous not merely for its exquisite craftsmanship but also for its Swayambhu Linga. The place is frequented by both religious as well as nature lover tourists.
